MODA Modeling School is the oldest and most comprehensive modeling school in Second Life specializing in training the fashion leaders of today. New classes have been added this year including Professional Photography and Machinima for artists and actors. The results are in and we have a Winner in the MODA Modeling School 2012 Scholarship Contest!
This year we decided to offer one scholarship to the person who is most likely to succeed at MODA Modeling School, so we teamed with the famous designer, Paris Zsun of Paris Metro Couture, to provide one outfit to be styled with creativity and flair. We asked the contestant to purchase the dress for a minimal fee, style it and send their photos to us. To keep things fair, we rounded up some impartial judges from outside of MODA, and asked them to select their choices simply based on the photographs with only these guidelines:
“We are not necessarily looking for the prettiest lady on the board, we are looking for the lady who has the most potential and would benefit the most from modeling school. We are looking for someone with creativity and a great sense of styling.“
We added the results to our Flickr page and posted on our home sim at Estancia. The judges have voted and now the time has come to open the envelopes and announce the winner!

So, tonight, April 16th at 7pm SLT we are throwing a PARTY to celebrate MODA’s SIX Years of Success at the ONYX Java House, owned and operated by our own talented and very busy model, Love Kawaguichi, and it’s right near the ONYX Bills staduim!!! Dress code is Casual, come as you are, meet the models, meet MODA and meet the wonderful contestants who participated in this wonderfully fun and gorgeous contest.

Juju’s gone dancing in the street of Mayfair, a sim made completely of mesh! There’s nothing wrong with dancing in the street as long as you are dressed for the occasion, and Jujudoll showed up for her flash mob of one wearing this new and stunning release by Paris Metro Couture s’agapw mazi mu. The flowing sheer fabric laced with sequins and fine stitching was made for dancing. Her jewelry is the Durban necklace and earrings from AMARELO MANGA.

Our MODA Fashion Primetime model Seleane Trellis went grid shopping to create this casual theme, starting with a sexy un-buttoned button-down blouse with cuffs loose at the wrist from Coco, paired with tight-fitting croc leggings by Mimikri. Her belt by Mandala is a perfect match for those casual tall riding boots by Hoorenbeek that are perfect for a stroll along a peaceful country lane. The jewelry is part is the “Zahra” set by Earthstones and her hair is “Rykiel” by Lelutka to complete this outfit.
Selene is also wearing her Aura skin (Briar) with a mesh manicure by Leverocci.
