Miri Lowenhart and Bannock Ogg graduated together from MODA Modeling School on On June 4, 2011. On June 15, 2011 she was hired as a MODA Spotlight model. Like Bannock, Miri will be in training for the next few week before we see her on the MODA Spotlight runway. Miri spent a lot of extra time at MODA Modeling School so I sent her some questions to answer in hopes of getting to know her better. Her answers will help us all get to know her a little better noth as a model and as a member of the MODA family:
What brought you to MODA Modeling School?
I first learned of MODA while watching Treet TV one afternoon, killing time and the Fashion Spotlight Show was on. I watched it and it became my favorite Treet TV show. I did some searching and found out about the MODA Modeling School and enrolled in the next available class. Unfortunately RL intervened and I had to drop out right before graduation, but I came back and retook the course and graduated this past June.
What was your favorite class?
I can’t say that I have one particular class I liked more than the other…each one was unique and I loved every one of them.
What was the hardest class for you?
Hmmm, Can I take the fifth? (j/k)…I’d have to say for me that Runway is the toughest; because of all the time you have to dedicate to practice, over and over and it’s always an ongoing challenge.
What made you decide to apply for the spotlight team?
It is the culmination of being part of the MODA family; and I wanted to see if I would succeed in being hired as one of the Spotlight Models.
What is your favorite personal style?
There are so many….hmmm….I’d have to say Fantasy is now my personal favorite….so many avenues covered in that area of style. It’s endless.
Meeting new designers and helping by modeling their creations in a professional manner is what she enjoys most about modeling, and like mose runway models, her nemesis is …LAG.
Aside from modeling, Miri is passionate about home decor, and in her free time she enjoys exploring all that Second Life has to offer.
In the past Miri has worked as a club manager, a hostess, a land rental agent, ans presently she is a Cheerleader.
What advice would you give to new aspiring models?
I would tell them to be sure that it’s what they want to do because it takes a lot of dedication, patience, practice and hard work to strive to become a successful model. It’s not just fun and games, and it’s a very low-paying job. You do though, get rewards in so many other ways.
Is there anything you would like to say in general to the whole wide world?
Yes, I’d like to thank those associated with the MODA staff so very much for everything! Ladies, You Are The Best!!!!! I can’t express enough my gratitude for everything you did. Love Ya!!!!
Miri, you are the best!!! and we LOVE you back! It’s so nice to have you with us. Welcome to the MODA family
