MODA Modeling School Classes
MODA Modeling School is the most comprehensive modeling school in second life. With six years of training experience, our methods are proven to lead to success. Our graduates move on to become the fashion leaders that you see every day in the fashion world. Our session are now offered at three levels of expertise. You have the option of enrolling in all three sessions, to be completed in 8 weeks, or you may opt to enroll in each level individually.
MODA Modeling School Full Term Tuition ——- $10,000L
As a Full Term Student, you will participate in each of the courses listed below, at all three levels. In addition, you are eligible for our Student Mentoring Program, which allows you to meet and study with some of the top models in SL, and receive personal assistance in areas that may be difficult for you. Full Term Students are eligible to earn a Certificate of Graduation from MODA Modeling School.
LEVEL 1———–BEGINNING CLASSES————–$4500L
Level 1 is for all new students. This level covers all student expectations and requirements to complete all courses at the Beginning Level. Level 1 is geared toward both experienced models, as well as first-time modeling students. The topics covered are necessary for continuance and for general success of today’s fashion model.
- INTRO TO MODELING 101
This class is a review of student rules and expectations and skills requirements at MODA Modeling School, and will generally apply to expectations of models, regardless of professional status.
- MODELS IN MOTION 101
This class is what give MODA models the winning edge over so many others! You will learn basic runway modeling without the use of a HUD. If you thought modeling wasn’t already challenging, wait till you try this class. It isn’t as easy as you think! Mastery of MODELS IN MOTION is an absolute requirement to any other modeling class at MODA, so prepare to learn.
- STYLING 101
This class covers basic tips and tricks specific to fashion modeling. You will learn about attachment points, adjusting your shape, fitting system and prim clothing, body proportion and much more.
- RUNWAY 101
Once you have covered the basics of knowledge, style and movement, you will begin working with fellow students and models on the runway, integrating new skills with working with coaches, fellow models and the fashions you are modeling.
LEVEL 2———–INTERMEDIATE CLASSES————–$5500L
Level 2 is for all students who have successfully completed all courses in Level 1. Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6pm to 9pm SLT
- MODELS IN MOTION 201
You will take what you learned in Models In Motion 1 to the next level, learning precise turns and accurate stopping and posing without missing a beat, even in the heat of lag.
- BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY 201
In preparation for your new portfolio, you will learn to use your UI camera to take your own fashion photos. Headshots, posing, and lighting are all covered, and much more!
- STYLING 201
You will learn proper selection and fitting of accessories, and prims. This class covers in-depth study of fashion design and style.
- RUNWAY 201
You will learn to work with a modeling team performing choreographed runway walks and poses on cue, in addition to an in-depth study of posing and quick-changes for runway modeling, as well as pre-show preparation.
LEVEL 3———–ADVANCED CLASSES————–$10,000L
Level 3 is for advanced students who have successfully completed all courses in Levels 1 and 2. Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6pm to 9pm SLT
- MODELS IN MOTION 301
In addition to all that you have learned in the beginning Models in Motion classes, you will learn quicker stops, sharper, more accurate turns, and have better control of your inner model while looking cool and composed on the runway.
- ADVANCED STYLING 301
You will learn work in-depth with skins and shapes, finding your own unique style, and selecting each one as a matter of style when modeling.
- MARKETING 301
Here is the class you’ve been waiting for! You will learn to market yourself as a model, get your name and photos out there for all to see. You will learn to present yourself to designers and agents in a professional manner, and you will learn how the professionals do it.
- RUNWAY 301
You will learn the back stages of working as a team, of styling, of working with a designer and coach, and you will learn the ins and outs of fashion show production. This class is the highlight of your career, as you gain the experience necessary to place you on the fashion stages across the Metaverse.
